The figurative language game that I enjoyed the most was create a metaphor. I enjoyed it because It was very understanding. In order to win I had to Put the metaphor's together in 60 seconds. My score was 100% well done. I played against. In order to play this game you have to go to this link [http://www.kidsonthenet.org.uk/dragonsville/metaphor1.htm]
Another figurative language game that I played was neither. Since the sixth grade. I felt that this game was rather confusing. In order to win I had to sink the aposing team's battle ships.
My Score was a you loose. My partner's score was you win. In order to play this game you have to go to this link [http://www.quia.com/ba/42131.html?AP_rand=934993279].
The figurative language game that I liked the least was the doggie game. I felt that this game was annoying.
In order to win this game I had to figure out which was which. My score was 80%. My partner's score was 85%. In order to win this game I had to figure out which was which. If you would like to play this game go to ("http://www.quia.com/quiz/104199.html?AP_rand=1688449332").

Problem:
T-mobile charges $34.99 a month for phone service. They also charge $0.48 per minute for long distance calls. If Joshua's bill was $64.75, how many minutes of long distance calls did she make?
Part A - Write an equation that can be used to solve the problem.
Equation: 0.48m+34.99=64.75
M=62
The way I received my answer was first, I made an equation which was 0.48m+34.99=64.75. To solve what m was, I had to work backwards so I had to subtract 34.99 from 34.99. That canceled it self out so i did it to the other side of the problem. The equation became 0.48m=29.76. Next, I was still had to work backwards and I divided 0.48 by 0.48. That canceled it self out so I did it to the other side. 0.48 divided by 29.76. That gave me 62. This told me that m=62. That Joshua used 62 minutes of long distance calling. This is how I received my answer of 62.

Aim: How do we evaluate algebraic expressions?
March 13, 2009
Today in class, we worked on varies and variables. They are two different things. A variable is a letter that replace a missing number in an expression or equation. A vary is something that is different or caused to be different. We also learned how to write expressions in another way. For example, 12x can be written as x(12), 12•x, 12x, and 12xx. 4/y can be written as 4÷y. 3xy/2 can be written as 3•y÷2. The difference between a variable and a constant is that a variable varies a number and can change. A constant doesn't change. The is what we did in class today

I am 13 years old
